ABOUT US

IP Builders, Inc. was founded in August 2006 by R. Ian Padgett, a Walterboro native who brought 17 years of design engineering and construction management experience to build a company rooted in this community. What began as one builder's vision has grown into a dedicated team known for reliability, craftsmanship, and results.

We work closely with architects throughout the Lowcountry to deliver complete Architectural and Engineering Design Services, and we manage every phase of a project in-house — from construction and design-build to general contracting and full-scale development. It's an approach built on clear communication, careful planning, and a team that takes real ownership of the work.

Over the years, we've helped shape the Lowcountry's landscape across a wide range of sectors — commercial, industrial, educational, institutional, correctional, residential, and retail. Our staff brings more than 60 years of collective industry experience to every project, and that depth of expertise is what allows us to consistently deliver dependable, high-quality results.

At IP Builders, Inc., we believe strong construction starts with strong relationships. Every project is an opportunity to prove that commitment — one client, one build, at a time.
